1. The Service

Forage is a market research tool that collects posts from Reddit and Hacker News, analyzes them with AI, and surfaces unmet product demands. The Service includes demand collection, AI scoring, competitor research, and synthesis reports.

2. Your Account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Forage.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our AI models or proprietary systems
• Use automated scripts or bots to abuse the Service beyond normal use
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service

The Service, including its software, design, and original content, is owned by Forage and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your data: You retain ownership of the data you input and the demand reports generated for your account. We do not claim ownership of your research data.

6. Third-Party Services

Forage uses third-party services including OpenAI, Reddit, Hacker News, and Lemon Squeezy. Your use of the Service is also subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated analysis will be accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forage and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service is harmful. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Forage operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
